lettuce wraps
it’s crunch time
There are few better meals than homemade lettuce wraps, it is just good for the soul. They are crunchy, healthy, filling, and super easy to make!
You can add as many or few veggies as you want. Sometimes we add in water chestnuts, more than one bell pepper, or even celery! I always add in the onion, pepper, jalapeno, and carrot.
I eyeball the sauce and then just taste and add as I go, but you could always start with a tablespoon of each and then add more of anything you need!
For the lettuce, we have used butter, romain, green- so truly what ever you prefer or have on hand works. This meal is always a winner because you usually always have the ingredients on hand and it is fast and delicious!
